Who makes Daily Grid
Daily Grid is built and run by Zachary Zimmerman, an independent software engineer and daily puzzle player. Every part of the site — the eleven games, the puzzle generators, the leaderboards, and the iOS app (rated 5.0 out of 5 on the App Store) — is designed and coded by one person.
"I'm a daily puzzle player and a software engineer — Daily Grid started as a fun side project and turned into something even I play every day. I love building the games as much as playing them, and that's the bar: every puzzle has to be something I'd want to come back to tomorrow."

Why it exists
The idea is simple: one small ritual of clear thinking, every day. Daily Grid gives you eleven free logic puzzles in your browser each day — no account, no download, no paywall — with a fresh handcrafted set at midnight Pacific Time. Solve at your own pace, keep a streak going, race friends for daily medals, or just enjoy a few quiet minutes of deduction with your coffee.
Puzzle design philosophy
Every Daily Grid puzzle is designed to be solvable by logic alone — no guessing required. Difficulty is tuned so a puzzle feels solvable on your lunch break but still makes you think. The interfaces stay deliberately calm: no ads, no pressure from the clock unless you want to race for medals, and no clutter between you and the grid.
What players say
"I love playing Daily Grid every day. It's the perfect mix of quick, clever, and addictive. Easy to pick up, but every puzzle keeps your brain locked in."
"I love playing Daily Grid because it keeps my brain young and fresh."
"I love playing Daily Grid so I can compete against my friends every day."
