Frequently Asked Questions

What is Daily Grid?

Daily Grid is a free website with eleven daily logic puzzles you can play in any browser at dailygrid.app/games. A fresh set of handcrafted puzzles is released every day at midnight Pacific Time. There is also a separate Daily Grid iOS app with its own daily puzzle.

Is Daily Grid free?

Yes. All eleven browser puzzles are free to play, every day, with no payment required. The iOS app is also free to download and offers an optional premium subscription for extras like the puzzle archive.

Do I need an account to play?

No account is needed. Every puzzle is playable immediately. Optionally, you can link an email in your profile to sync streaks, medals, and achievements across devices and compete with friends.

What puzzles are included?

Eleven daily games: Snake (connect numbers in order), Pathways (link colored pairs), Logice (logic-grid deduction), Bits (binary grid balance), Bridges (island-connecting), Parcel (rectangle packing), Conduit (circuit routing), Perimeter (loop drawing), Polyfit (piece packing), Tiles (sliding order), and BlindSlide (plan slides in advance).

When is a new puzzle released?

A new puzzle for every game goes live every day at midnight Pacific Time.

How do streaks and leaderboards work?

Completing a game's daily puzzle extends your streak for that game. Each game also has a daily leaderboard where the fastest solvers earn gold, silver, and bronze medals, and you can compare results with friends.

I missed a day, can I still play it?

Past daily puzzles aren't replayable on the web, but you can play unlimited free practice puzzles for every game. In the Daily Grid iOS app, a premium subscription unlocks the full archive of previous puzzles.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. Daily Grid is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad with its own daily puzzle, rated 5.0 out of 5. The eleven browser games also work great on mobile and can be added to your home screen.

Who makes Daily Grid?

Daily Grid is built by Zachary Zimmerman, an independent software engineer and daily puzzle player. Read more on the About page or reach him at [email protected].
